Open Barriers

We are waiting for you on May 9th, Saturday, at the DKV Zrt. facility on Salétrom utca, where a truly special experience awaits all those who wish to peek behind the scenes of urban transportation. This is the day when the gates of the facility will open wide, allowing us to gain insight into the world that keeps the city moving day by day. During the Secrets of the Workshop program, you can get up close and personal with the vehicles, the maintenance processes, and the background work that ensures the services run every morning. One of the most exciting parts of the event is the Historical Tour, where memories of the past come to life: old tickets, uniforms, photos, and stories tell of the development of transportation and the everyday life of the city. Of course, nostalgia vehicles will also be present; you can travel on the Wooden Frame tram, the Ikarus 280T and MAZ 103T trolleybuses, and we have surprise buses prepared for Ikarus fans!

- Hajdú-Bihar County Police Headquarters: traffic safety demonstration, motorcycle demonstration, interactive accident prevention demonstration, police car. 
- Hajdú-Bihar County Disaster Management Directorate: firefighting demonstrations, fire truck. 
- National Ambulance Service: paramedic demonstration, ambulance. 
- Aquaticum Debrecen: interactive children's programs, meet Bubu, the beach mascot. 
- Rolling Kids: pedal go-karts.
