New Night Buses Starting in January

In order to serve the facilities operating in the North-West Economic Zone, new night buses will start from January 5, 2026. At the same time, the schedule for the 70 line family and the 30A bus will also change. 

CHANGES AFFECTING THE NORTH-WEST ECONOMIC ZONE

To meet the travel needs of the North-West Economic Zone, the schedules for buses 71, 72, and 73 will change.

A bus 71 will depart from the Nagyállomás at 13:34 and 13:42 towards the North-West Economic Zone. The bus 71A departing from Nagyállomás at 13:10 will now depart at 12:55 with the 71 designation. The bus 71A departing from the North-West Economic Zone stop at 22:10 will, after schedule correction, depart at 22:17 with the 71 designation. A bus 72 will depart from Nagyállomás at 13:38, and a bus 73 will depart from Segner tér at 13:21 towards the North-West Economic Zone.

From January 5, 2026, new night buses will operate with the designations 971, 972, 973, and 974.

Schedule Correction for the 30A Bus: On January 5, 2026, starting from the beginning of operations, a new bus pair will operate on the 30A line due to increased travel demand from Vécsey Street. After the changes, the 30A bus will depart from the Ice Hall at 4:05 and from Borzán Gáspár Street at 4:32. 

Stop Name Changes: From January 5, 2026, several stop names will change. The stop named Falóger towards Veres Péter Street will change to Szent Bazil Greek Catholic Technical School. The stop named Falóger towards Faraktár Street will change to Mák Street. The stop on Kolónia Street will change to Mák Street. The stop named FAG on Határ Road will change to Schaeffler Debrecen Kft. The stop named Vitesco Technologies Hungary Kft. on Jedlik Ányos Street will change to Schaeffler Motion Technologies Debrecen.
