Traffic Regulations During the Ice Flower Carnival

On December 13, 2025, Saturday from 16:00, the Ice Flower Carnival will be held on the section between Piac utca, Szent Anna utca, and Kossuth tér. During the event, from 16:00 to 19:00, the affected section of Piac utca will be completely closed, and the traffic regulations for several bus, trolleybus, and tram lines will change.

TRAM SERVICES

During the event, the 1 and 2 trams will operate between Kálvin tér – Egyetem/Doberdó utca – Kálvin tér to transport passengers. Tram services will be suspended on the section between Kálvin tér and Nagyállomás, and instead, tram replacement buses marked 1V-2V will operate from 15:30 to 19:30.

The 1V-2V tram replacement buses stop at the following stops:

Nagyállomás (bus stop for line 10), Barna utca, Antall József utca, Tisza István utca, Hatvan utca, Kölcsey Központ (Bethlen utca), Kölcsey Központ (Hunyadi János utca), Kálvin tér, Burgundia utca, Klaipeda utca, Szent Anna utca, Wesselényi utca, Nagyállomás

TROLLEYBUS SERVICES

Lines 3 and 3A:
During the event, between 17:00 and 18:00, lines 3 and 3A will operate on the route of line 5. Buses departing from Segner tér at 16:52 and from Köztemető, main gate at 16:42 will already be on the detour route.

Line 4:
During the Ice Flower Carnival, between 17:00 and 18:00, line 4 trolleybuses will operate on the Segner tér – Nyugati utca – Erzsébet utca – Wesselényi utca – Hajnal utca – Munkácsy Mihály utca – Víztorony utca – Ótemető utca – Rakovszky Dániel utca – Hajnal utca – Wesselényi utca – Erzsébet utca – Nyugati utca – Segner tér route. The line 4 bus departing from Segner tér at 16:50 will already be on the detour route.

BUS SERVICES

During the event, between 17:00 and 18:00, the traffic regulations for the 19, 25, 25Y, 41, 41Y, 45, 73, 125, and 125Y buses will change.

Line 19:
The bus will operate towards Sámsoni út on the Széchenyi utca – Tisza István utca – Antall József utca – Erzsébet utca – Wesselényi utca – Hajnal utca – Munkácsy Mihály utca detour route. The bus towards the Ice Hall will operate on the Faraktár utca – Hajnal utca – Wesselényi utca – Erzsébet utca – Antall József utca – Miklós utca detour route. Buses departing from the Ice Hall at 16:31 and from Sámsoni út at 16:25 will still operate on the original route.

 Buses 25, 25Y, 41, 41Y, 45, 125, and 125Y:
The buses will operate on the Nyugati utca – Széchenyi utca – Tisza István utca – Antall József utca – Erzsébet utca – Wesselényi utca – Hajnal utca – Faraktár utca detour route. The 45 bus departing from Vincellér utca at 15:55, the 125 bus at 16:22, the 41 bus at 16:26, the 125Y bus at 16:32, and the 41Y bus at 16:38 will still operate on the original route. The 45 bus departing from Vámospércsi út at 16:25, the 25Y bus from Veres Péter utca at 16:30, the 41 bus from Kinizsi Nyomda at 16:30, and the 25 bus from Veres Péter utca at 16:32 will still operate on the original route.

Line 73:
The 73 bus heading towards Segner tér will operate on the Faraktár utca – Hajnal utca – Wesselényi út – Erzsébet utca – Antall József utca – Tisza István utca – Széchenyi utca detour route. The 73 bus departing from the North-West Economic Zone at 15:22 will still operate on the original route.

The buses will stop at the stops located on the detour route.
