Traffic Regulations During the Holiday Season

Due to the Christmas holidays and the school winter break, from December 22, 2025, to January 4, 2026, the schedule for DKV Zrt. bus, trolleybus, and tram services will be as follows. DKV Zrt. requests passengers to check the current schedule before departure on the www.dkv.hu website, the menetrend.app, or the MyDKV applications.

DECEMBER 22, 2025, MONDAY
Buses, trolleybuses, and trams will operate according to the school break, weekday schedule.

DECEMBER 23, 2025, TUESDAY
Buses, trolleybuses, and trams will operate according to the school break, weekday schedule.

DECEMBER 24, 2025, WEDNESDAY
Buses, trolleybuses, and trams will operate according to the Saturday schedule until 16:00. Between 16:00 and 21:00, only tram lines 1 and 2, trolleybus lines 3, 3A, 5, and 5A, as well as bus lines 25, 46, 46Y, 60, 60H, and 125 will operate.

DECEMBER 29, MONDAY – DECEMBER 31, WEDNESDAY
Buses, trolleybuses, and trams will operate according to the school break, weekday schedule.

On December 31, Wednesday, the Auchan shopper shuttle departure times are: From Nagyállomás: 08:40, 09:40, 12:40, 14:40. From Auchan Store: 09:05, 10:05, 13:05, 15:05, 16:15

NIGHT TRANSPORT ON NEW YEAR'S EVE: 
Night trams:
On December 31, the event "Happy New Year Debrecen 2026" will be held at Kossuth tér. During the program, from 20:00 on December 31, 2025, Wednesday, until the end of the event on January 1, 2026, Wednesday, trams 1 and 2 will operate in two sections between Nagyállomás – Városháza – Nagyállomás and Kálvin tér – Egyetem/Doberdó utca – Kálvin tér. Trams 1 and 2 will run every 12 minutes until 2:30. If the event ends earlier than planned, a tram 2 will depart from Nagyállomás at 00:30, and a tram 1 at 00:40.

Bus 18Y departs at 00:25 towards Széna tér.
Bus 47Y departs at 00:20 towards Tégláskert utca.  

Departures from Csokonai Theatre (towards Segner tér) stop:
A night service departs at 00:20 towards Józsai neighborhoods via Csokonai Színház – Széchenyi utca – Nyugati utca – Pesti utca – Böszörményi út – main road 35 – Szentgyörgyfalvi út – Sillye Gábor utca – Felsőjózsai utca – Gönczy Pál utca – Bocskai István út – Tokaji utca – Templom utca – Alsójózsai utca.

Departures from Debrecen Court stop:
Bus 3A departs at 00:20 towards Kassai út. 
Bus 125 departs at 00:25 towards Veres Péter utca

JANUARY 1, 2026, THURSDAY
Buses, trolleybuses, and trams will operate according to the Sunday, holiday schedule. The Auchan shopper shuttles will not operate on this day. 

JANUARY 2, FRIDAY – JANUARY 3, SATURDAY
Buses, trolleybuses, and trams will operate according to the Saturday schedule.

 JANUARY 4, SUNDAY
Buses, trolleybuses, and trams will operate according to the Sunday, holiday schedule.
