Traffic Regulations on March 15

On March 15, 2026, Sunday, the company's services will operate according to the Sunday holiday schedule. The Auchan shopper services will not operate on this day.

On March 15, Sunday, during the time of the commemorative events, Petőfi Square, as well as the section between Piac Street, Holló János Street, and Kossuth Square will be closed. During the events, the traffic schedule of trams 1 and 2 will change between 10:30 and 11:30.

Tram services during the celebrations:

Between 10:30 and 11:30, tram traffic will be suspended between Nagyállomás and Kálvin tér. Trams 1 and 2 will only transport passengers on the route Kálvin tér – Egyetem/Doberdó utca – Kálvin tér. Until 17:00, the trams will operate slower than usual in Petőfi Square and the pedestrian zone of Piac Street until the end of the events.

Replacement Buses for Trams

Between 10:00 and 11:50, replacement buses marked 1V-2V will transport passengers from Nagyállomás (bus stop 10) – Erzsébet utca – Antall József utca – Tisza István utca – Hatvan utca – Bethlen utca – Hunyadi János utca – Rákóczi utca – Burgundia utca – Klaipeda utca – Szent Anna utca – Attila tér – Wesselényi utca – Nagyállomás (bus stop 10)

The replacement buses will stop at every stop along the route and will follow each other every 10 minutes.

 The validated ticket at the start of the journey can be used after transfer, but it must be validated on both vehicles.
