Changes in tram transportation during the Night Ride

On August 18, 2026, Tuesday, between 19:00 and 21:00, the Night Ride bicycle parade will take place. During the event, the operation of trams 1 and 2 will change.

Tram transportation during the Night Ride:

The parade will proceed along the route Kossuth tér – Kossuth utca – Klaipeda utca – Szent Anna utca – Piac utca – Petőfi tér – Erzsébet utca – Antall József utca – Tisza István utca – Hatvan utca – Kossuth tér.

During the event, between 19:00 and 21:00, trams 1 and 2 will only transport passengers between the stops Kálvin tér – Egyetem/Doberdó utca – Kálvin tér. Tram transportation will be suspended between Kálvin tér and Nagyállomás.

After the event, between 21:00 and 23:00, trams 1 and 2 will operate in two sections between Nagyállomás – Városháza – Nagyállomás and Kálvin tér – Egyetem/Doberdó utca – Kálvin tér.

 Replacement buses during the Night Ride:

During the event, between 18:40 and 21:00, 1V-2V replacement buses will operate on the route Nagyállomás – Erzsébet utca – Külsővásártér – Nyugati utca – Segner tér – Pesti utca – Mester utca – Hunyadi János utca – Rákóczi utca – Burgundia utca – Kossuth utca – Faraktár utca – Hajnal utca – Wesselényi utca – Nagyállomás.

The 1V-2V replacement buses will stop at Nagyállomás (bus stop 10), Mechwart András Szki, Segner tér, Kölcsey Központ (Hunyadi János utca), Kálvin tér, Burgundia utca, Szent Efrém Általános Iskola, and Nagyállomás.

During the parade, trolleybuses 3, 4, and 5, as well as 1V-2V, 10, 10Y, 13, 14, 14Y, 15, 15Y, 19, 22, 24, 25, 25Y, 30, 33, 41, 42, 45, 46, 60H, 61, 71A, 125, 125Y, 146, and Auchan services may experience delays of a few minutes.
