- In the event that a passenger does not have a valid pass at the time of the inspection but purchases and presents a valid monthly or annual electronic pass for the period of the inspection to the Customer Service desk within five working days of the inspection, they may settle the matter by paying the surcharge at the same time as they present their pass.

In all cases, the inspector will provide the passenger with a supplementary ticket for the surcharge paid on the spot.
In the event that the passenger does not settle the surcharge with the inspector on the spot, the inspector will record the passenger's personal data for subsequent settlement. The passenger is required to sign the copy of the record sheet that remains with the inspector, and the inspector then gives the other copy to the passenger along with the information form and the cheque.
In the event that a paper ticket or pass is not utilised as stipulated in the conditions of travel and the passenger does not pay the surcharge to the ticket inspector on the spot, the inspector is obliged to withdraw the fare product. Please note the deadlines indicated in points 1 to 6 when settling surcharges and presentation fees. The date of the transfer or the payment of the surcharge is considered to be the settlement date of the surcharge.
